Peptide bond

In protein biosynthesis, proteinogenic amino acids are linked (on the ribosomes with the participation of m-RNA and t-RNA) through a condensation reaction between carboxy and amino groups. Splitting off from H2O The peptide bond is formed. Short-chain peptides (e.g. glutathione) can also be formed on special enzymes, whereby no RNA is required.
